Primary responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and maintaining responsive static websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Deployment via GitHub
• Maintaining WordPress sites (content, plugins, WooCommerce)
• Provide continuous technical support (helpdesk) to end users (employees and lecturers)
• Design and Development of Websites and Softwares
• Knowledge of PHP & MySQL
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure PAAS services is a plus
• SEO Optimization of Website
• Testing and Launching of Website and Software

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in the relevant field or equivalent experience or certification
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Web Design and Development
• Understanding of SEO principles and experience with SEO optimization
• Proficiency in analyzing and validating web design requests
• Ability to conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Experience in creating and sharing website sketches and prototypes
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and trends
• Excellent communication skills for maintaining contact with requesters and stakeholders
• Ability to define permissions, passwords, and login lists
• Proficiency in web technologies (e.g., WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP & MySQL, MongoDB, Express, React JS, Node JS)
• Experience in setting up project environments (e.g., GitHub, application/software installation)
• Skills in redesigning websites with a focus on user experience (UX/UI)
• Ability to code based on designed sketches
• Organizational skills for holding meetings and implementing design changes
• Experience in content management and domain selection
• Proficiency in performing website backups and participating in migrations
