We're currently seeking a qualified STUDENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join us in ensuring the success and well-being of our students. In this role, you will address academic and personal needs, monitor student progress, and provide recommendations to enhance their achievements. Your role is pivotal in our commitment to student support and success.
What you'll do:
- Develop annual and quarterly activity plans, events, and meetings for students across the Academies
- Provide support by handling phone calls from students
- Manage student email inquiries, ensuring prompt responses and forwarding to the relevant colleagues when necessary
- Create surveys on organizational topics, curriculum, support, and student interactions.
- Organize orientation sessions for new students and manage a calendar of student support activities
- Coordinate "Orientation Week" events, liaising with various departments for logistics and promotion
- Conduct group and individual meetings with students to address academic and social needs.
- Manage student files, analyze their progress, and collaborate on recommendations for career development
- Uphold company values, and contribute to a positive organizational culture through professional conduct and teamwork
Who you are:
- Psychology, pedagogy, or similar background preferred, with a strong interest in professional development
- Fluency in the English language
- Proficiency in using the MS Office package
- Enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and learning opportunities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Motivated by achieving results and contributing to organizational goals
